Part-turn actuators

The 2SQ70 series is designed for ON-OFF duty (ISO 22153, Class A).
The 2SQ73 series is designed for inching/positioning duty (ISO 22153, Class B).
The 2SQ75 series is designed for modulating duty (ISO 22153, Class C).

Depending on requirements, the actuators can be equipped with ECOTRON or PROFITRON actuator control electronics.

2SQ7 design features

  • Valve connection in accordance with ISO and DIN, special designs optional
  • Integrated control and power electronics with frequency converter
  • Valve protection thanks to soft start/stop functionality
  • Extensive internal monitoring functions including full motor protection and automatic phase sequence correction
  • Electronic torque limitation
  • Can be integrated into all control systems
    (parallel, PROFIBUS, Modbus, HART, Profinet)
  • Programmable potential-free signal outputs for status signaling 
  • Separate mounting of the electronics unit possible
  • Handwheel for emergency operation

ECOTRON design features

  • Segment LC display with “Drive Controller” for easy commissioning
  • Operating modes according to ISO 22153:
    - Class A (OPEN-CLOSE duty),
    - Class B (inching/positioning duty),
    - Class C (modulation duty)
  • Speed/positioning time electronically adjustable in seven stages
  • Analog position feedback (0/4 - 20 mA)
  • Electrical connection via double-sealed round plug

PROFITRON design features

  • Full-graphics user interface with “Drive Controller,” intuitive operation
  • Adjustable display orientation and layout
  • Easy commissioning and operation thanks to user guidance with instructions/animations
  • Operating modes according to ISO 22153:
    - Class A (OPEN-CLOSE duty),
    - Class B (inching/positioning duty),
    - Class C (modulation duty)
  • Speeds/positioning times times individually adjustable for OPEN, CLOSE, EMERGENCY OPEN, and EMERGENCY CLOSE
